DGCA directive to ensure kids seated with guardian, parent

Airlines must now guarantee that young children are seated alongside at least one of their parents or guardians during flights, without charging additional fees for seat selection, provided they are traveling on the same booking reference (PNR). In response to grievances from passengers traveling in groups, particularly concerning the separation of children from their families when opting out of extra seat selection fees, DGCA directive said.
