Arms cache intercepted by Assam Rifles on Myanmar border

A large quantity of arms, ammunition and other war-like stores was intercepted on Monday by Assam Rifles in Mon district of Nagaland close to the India-Myanmar border. Assam Rifles conducted a search operation based on intelligence inputs in the early hours, resulting in the arrest of an individual and the confiscation of 11 mortar tubes (81mm).
