The training workshops and lectures of the Virtual Education Forum 2021, organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education under the slogan 'Visions and Aspirations...Beyond Challenges, will be held through an online platform via the following link: . The Ministry of Education and Higher Education intends to hold the Virtual Education Forum this year with the aim of continuing the process of permanent development of the educational process. It put its integrated effort in order to achieve the desired benefit of the forum in the best way, to prove that despite all the circumstances, the visions and aspirations came to be realized without regard to difficulties and not to stand in the way of challenges. The Virtual Education Forum 2021 will include two keynote speakers; Vice-Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation (QF) H E Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani and President of Qatar University Dr. Hassan Al Derham. In addition, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education H E Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, Dean of College of Education at Qatar University Dr. Ahmed Al Emadi, Director of Research and Content Development at WISE Dr. Asmaa Al Fadala and Assistant Director of the Educational Guidance Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Dr. Abdullah Ali Al Marri will speak in the plenary opening session. Those wishing to participate and attend the workshops should register through it, so that they can get acquainted with the forum's works, training workshops and lectures. There are 31 training sessions, with the participation of 41 speakers, which were chosen very carefully and in line with the objectives of this forum. In discussion sessions and workshops, the forum will address a number of topics and practices that will be presented by professors from universities and participating bodies, with a focus on the role of technology and developments in post-COVID-19 education, through the following themes: The first theme refers to Integrating Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) into school curricula, managing the quality of input and design in curricula, improving curricula based on education outputs and methodology of scientific research and innovation and its role in promoting sustainability. The second theme focuses on aligning education outputs with labor market and sustainable development needs, evaluating education outputs in the context of sustainable development, academic and professional counseling and its role in pre-university education, the role of specialised schools in achieving sustainable development and nurturing talents is key to creativity, and necessary for sustainable development. Theme number three highlights the new visions in early childhood education, integrating ESD into early childhood programs and protecting education of children in exceptional circumstances. Theme four talks about the role of educational supervision and educational leadership in promoting teachers sustainable professional development, integrating ESD into teachers professional development programs, professionalizing education according to professional standards and its role in developing teachers' performance and the role of educational supervision in developing the 21st century teachers. The fifth theme focuses on fostering community partnerships towards achieving ESD and discusses community partnership and achieving the goals of ESD and Fostering national identity and human values to achieve sustainable education as part of Qatar National Vision 2030. The Virtual Education Forum 2021 is one of the most important vehicles for cognitive and professional communication across the education sector.
