One child killed, 5 others wounded in Houthi shelling on Yemen's Marib

(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ADEN, April 3 (KUNA) -- One child was killed and five other persons were wounded by a rocket launched by the Houthi militias on a high density residential district of the displaced people in Marib, Yemeni official sources said on Saturday.Two of the wounded are in critical condition, Yemen news agency quoted a local authority source as saying, adding that the shelling caused damage to two houses and other properties in the district.The source pointed to Houthi continued bombardment of the residential areas and shelters of the displaced in Marib, which is hosting more than 2 million people.The Houthi militias escalated their military operations and attacks towards Marib, in a bid to control the oil-rich city, which is the H.Q of the legitimate government, north of the country.
