Saudi- Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Announces Mechanism for Issuing, Reserving Umrah, Prayer, Visit Permits

(MENAFN - Saudi Press Agency) Makkah, 08 April, 2021, SPA -- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has confirmed the launch of the updated version of the (Eatmarna) and (Tawakkalna) applications in cooperation with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). Under the new versions, citizens and residents can request the issuance and reservation of Umrah, visit and prayer permits during the holy month of Ramadan, with the exclusivity of displaying permits on Tawakkalna application. This technical integration between the two applications corresponds to the decision to increase the operational capacity and at the same time maintain the precautionary measures inside the Grand Mosque, and to verify the security features of the applicants of the permit and their immunizations status.
