Head of Human Rights Committee of Arab Parliament Warns Against Houthi Crimes on Civilians, Facilities in Saudi Arabia and Yemen

(MENAFN - Saudi Press Agency) Cairo, June 28, 2021, SPA -- Head of the Human Rights Committee of the Arab Parliament, Alawi Al-Basha, warned against the danger of aggravating the situation in Yemen as a result of the violations carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia. He also condemned the heinous massacre committed by that Iranian-backed militia by targeting civilians, civilian facilities in the Yemeni governorate of Ma''rib. In a statement issued today, Al-Basha denounced the aggressive actions and systematic targeting that have become a deliberate approach of the terrorist Houthi militia against civilians, objects, and civilian facilities in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. He considered the heinous Houthi crimes a blatant challenge to all international, regional, and local efforts and initiatives seeking to establish peace in the region. Al-Basha called on the international and regional community and relevant organizations to assume their humanitarian and moral responsibilities and take effective legal and firm measures to hold those responsible accountable for these terrorist Houthi crimes.
