The NBA announced Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic was named MVP yesterday, getting 91 of the 100 first-place votes to win in a landslide. Jokic became the first center since Shaq to win the award, and is also the lowest draft pick-- 41st overall in 2014 -- to ever get the honor. Philadelphia 76ers' big man Joel Embiid finished 2nd in overall voting, and admitted last night that the loss was quote 'disappointing.' But, he went on to say that he’s got bigger team priorities, adding 'If and when I'm holding that [Larry O'Brien] Trophy, anything else won't matter.'
