2K and Gearbox Software announced that Borderlands 3 will get new content in the coming months in the form of co-op features and next-generation support. During the Gearbox PAX Digital Showcase, Borderlands 3 developers confirmed their game is coming to both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. More importantly, those who already own the current-generation version of Borderlands 3 will receive a free upgrade to either of the two upcoming consoles. Naturally, this applies to all Borderlands 3 content players own, as well as saves. By bringing Borderlands 3 to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, Gearbox will offer players a smoother gameplay experience at 60 frames per second and 4K resolution.
