Microsoft has finally announced the launch of Xbox Cloud Gaming on Apple devices, which means that iPhone and iPad owners can now play games running in the cloud using nothing but their browsers. The new feature is available in 22 countries, Microsoft says, and also lands for all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members with Windows 10 PCs. To make sure everything runs exactly as expected, with minimum latency and uncompromised performance, Microsoft has also upgraded Xbox Cloud Gaming to custom Xbox Series X hardware, so with the proper connection, you should be able to play games just like you’d be using your own console. “We’ve been upgrading Microsoft datacenters around the globe with the fastest, most powerful Xbox hardware to give you faster load times, improved frame rates, and an experience of a new generation of gaming.
