Kristin Smart investigation: California police seize two vans belonging to family of primary suspect

In response to renewed public interest surround the 1996 disappearance of California college student Kristin Smart, and reports that the FBI told her mother to hire a spokesperson amid a possible break in the cold case, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office released an update on the nearly quarter-century-long investigation – announcing Wednesday it’s seized two vans as evidence.
