Colorado power outages: 9,000 lost power in northern part of state due to blanket of snow along I-25 corridor

Heavy expected snowfall means power outages are possible along the Front Range, according to the National Weather Service. The snow could cause branches to fall onto power lines or accumulate on the lines themselves.
