Two dead in North New Hyde Park car crash

A 39-year-old woman and a 71-year-old woman were killed when a 2009 Toyota Corolla being driven by a 41-year-old man overturned and struck a utility pole on Marcus Avenue. The driver is hospitalized in critical condition, and police have not yet released the identities of the victims.
