Over $6K in school supplies donated through Las Vegas parking ticket program

So far the City of Las Vegas has accepted more than $6,700 worth of school supplies that were.used to pay off parking tickets.

More than $1,700 of that came from 56 people paying off their tickets.

The other $5,000 was donated by BiC.

Some parking tickets can be paid off with school supplies through Monday.

They will go to the nonprofit Teacher Exchange.
