Trump Wants Russia To Join The G7 Summit

Russia forcibly annexed Crimea in 2014, alarming bells at the United Nations and worrying neighboring countries.

When it happened, Sen.

John mcCain said the U.S. and allies should not stand by and do nothing.

He said when they do nothing it “sends the signal to President Putin that he can be even more ambitious and aggressive.” According to CNN, Russia was given sanctions and kicked out of the G8 summit.

Now President Donald Trump is trying to get Russia reinstated in the summit for next year.
