(hoskins) "we're not going to have any live music or sports games on the only tv's we're going to have is so you can play duck hunt like the old nintendo game but it will be a very lowkey spot i feel like."
Hoskins passion -- coming to life in a retro -- vintage looking arcade called high score saloon.but -- there's a twist.they will sell craft beer and wine too."our vision is to be a small friendly place you can go have a beer and play donkey kong or the simpsons just together with old friends or making new ones."it's a new business with an old school vibe located on main street --"i like the area very much and the people that are down here."
Set to open in this fall."i think us being down here is going to draw in a younger crowd that franklin street has always taken over they pretty much own the 21-29 demographic and we'd like to have poeple who grew up playing these games or people who just want to have a beer and hang out and isn't noisy and doesn't have music.'
The quarter play games -- not only about the high score.hoskins says he hopes to get involved with local charities too.but come this fall -- many tri- staters will have a new place to get their game on.
