A valley woman is being honored by Las Vegas City Council for her efforts to track down a convicted animal abuser and murderer.
Deanna Thompson is one of the women featured in the Netflix documentary "Don't Fuck With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer." She's one of the animal lovers who spent 18 months going frame by frame and line by line through the killer's online posts and videos.
The group's effort helped authorities collect enough evidence to find the killer and help convict him.
