People in the Skyline Community are shaken up by the fatal shooting.

County sheriff's investigators are still questioning a person involved in monday's shooting that left one person dead.

The coroner identified that man as 23 year old tarrance shumpert..

W-t-v-a's alisa anderson spoke with residents and business owners in skyline and shares with us their reactions to the shoot out.

The shooting happened here at this tire store.

Now this business is very close to homes and businesses.

To that into perspective i want to show how close the homes are.

I spoke with several business owners less than a mile from where the shooting happened.

They said nothing like this has happened before."

Sot: aaron lozano it's a litte scary.

It was wild wild west stuff."

Aaron lozano has worked at jerry willis motors for fifteen years..

He was selling cars when he saw sheriff's cars zooming by..

Lozanoo and his boss, jerry willis, thought the commotion was a car accident.

Sot: jerry willis "my first thought was that i might not need to be here.

That was my first thought.

You know i had no idea that it was a killing or shooting..

The shooting happened monday at a plus tire and service on highway 178.

Sot: sheriff jim johnson "it was chaos.

It's a very populated community.

Several businesses around.

There were people there doing business when it went.

It was lucky that wasn't nobody else shot.

Two people suffered gunshot wounds.

One required surgery for a wound to the head.

The other died after being hit in the abdomen.

And sheriff jim johnson said the person who fired the fatal shot is in jail.sot: aaron lozano "it's kind of crazy because of the community around here is small and quiet and nothing ever happens that's exciting like that.

It was a lot of excitement everybody and there bother was looking..

Standup: sheriif johnson said the store has survellience videos.

He hope the video will be able to help investigators.
