Do not call 9-1-1 to check if the state line is open, authorities say

Authorities say people have been calling 9-1-1 to check if the California and Nevada state line is open and ask that they please refrain from making those kind of calls.

The state line is open and 9-1-1 needs to be clear for emergencies, they say.
