Millions of people received their stimulus checks this week, and there's still some waiting.

Some of you were nice enough to let us know you received them and your plans now that you have them in your possession.fox 55's jentill neal tells us more about what our viewers are doing with the stimulus money.

Jentill?well hunter, i'm happy to say our viewers are definitely prioritizing their spending.no one said they were spending it on luxuries, only necessities.

Plenty of our viewers received their stimulus payments from the federal government this week, but some are at risk of immediately losing the money if they owe credit card, medical, or private student loan debts.that's the case for some of the people who commented on our facebook page this evening.jess long's entire check went to medical bills and she wasn't the only one.

That was the case for sarah who is battling skin cancer.others like chad, carlton and amanda glant are putting the money toward bills which doesn't leave much room for saving, but you do have some who are like susan and amanda hampton putting it into their savings.peggy and her husband are essential workers at a local food facitlity.

She says their financial situation has not changed much and because of that, they don't plan to touch the money at all.

Although many have not received their checks, that does not mean it's not on it's way.

Some people received it before others because of the irs already having people's direct deposits on file because they were due a refund for the last two tax years.
