An error on the oregon employment department website tripped up some users trying to file their weekly unemployment claims today.
Many workers got messages this morning saying they must restart their claims when doing their weekly filing for benefits.
Officials say that's not true for most users.
They said 100 thousand oregonians sucessfully filed-- but the high volume of claims and weekend system maintence caused the restart claim error... they say it's all fixed now-- and those who got the error will still get benefits for any weeks they were unemployed but unable to file.
