The "safer-at-home" order goes into monday at 8 a.m.

It allows some businesses to re- open under certain mandates, including retail businesses.

But other non- essential establishments like gyms will remain closed.

Our deandria turner talked to one personal trainer about ways to stay active and burn some calories while at home.

Gyms are still still closed, but personal trainer santana hairston says it's not an excuse to forfeit your fitness goals.

Really all you need is a good 30 minutes throughout your day as soon as you get up get active" she says there are plenty of things around the house you can use in place of weights and other gym equipment.
