Coronavirus numbers by county: April 30, 2020

Updated coronavirus statistics in Oneida, Herkimer and Otsego counties.

First time this week, there are no new deaths to report in oneida county, but as you said oneida county is up slightly in new cases.

<change > 20 new cases for a total of 419.

Quick explainer...the county subtracted one from yesterdays total after further investigation.

<change > total number hospitalized is down...by seven from yesterday...there are 13 at mvhs, 4 at rome memorial and two outside the county.

160 people have recovered...thats one more than yesterday.

There are three possible exposures...all three are in utica.

On april 25th between 10 and 12 at the rite aid on genesee street.

On april 26 & 29, at the price chopper on genesee st.

Between 10 and 12 and 4 to 4:30 p.m.

Respectively.

And on april 29th, at the colonial laundromat on genesee street between 3 and 4.

The public is at low risk just monitor for symptoms. also a reminder, starting tomorrow there is a new testing site at griffiss international airport.

In herkimer county..

Three new cases pushing the overall total to 81....first time we've seen positive cases since monday in herkimer county.

<change > just one person hospitalized at this time, 59 people have recovered...three more than yesterday.

And in otsego county... we stay at 62 cases overall...no new cases today.
