Robert Redford Slams Trump’s Coronavirus Response

According to The Huff Post on Thursday NBC news published a "highly critical opinion piece" written by actor Robert Redford, and his son James Redford.

In the piece, they call out President Donald Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

They believe that he failed “to act quickly and decisively” in the face of the health emergency, which has killed 60,000 people in the U.S. In 2016 Trump reportedly scrambled Robert Redford’s words to make it seem as if he'd endorsed Trump's presidency.

In the past, Redford called Trump's presidency a “monarchy in disguise.” But, the duo also said that the overall global response to coronavirus is a positive note.

They said, "(It has) shown us the power of sound science, true leadership and early action.”
