Have recovered from covid-19.

3 while masks and gloves or p-p-e are used to help mitigate the spread of coronavirus, some of those items here in lafayette are being disposed improperly.... unfortunately - around the cajundome - some of those personal protective equipment, commonly referred to as p-p-e, were't hard to find at all.

Take a look... wind na~ you know i's spring when a variety of hues appear across lafayett's landscapes....~bird na~ and like stubborn weeds that come along with it, blue latex gloves appear on busy sidewalks and roadways along cajundome boulevard.... as well as off west congress street in a grassy patch littered with what at first appeared to be a blooming magnolia, but further proved to be a discarded mask.... car na~ the problem only worsens as more and more people turn to these disposable masks and gloves to help reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus.... and while similar scenes are playing out throughout the state, potentially threatening wildlife and putting essential workers at risk, lafayette- mayor president josh guillory says there has been complaints and has advice"to everyone out there, when you dispose of your gloves or your mask do your absolute best to find one of these bio-hazardous bags - you wanna take one glove off and take, and take it off with the other one - so that you do not contaminant the next person tha's either handling the trash or disposing of the particular trash can that you have..."

So these two essential items used to help stop the spread of coronavirus could potentially spread it more... so if ther's a garbage can around, and you need to dispose of them, just tos'em in... 3
