Kiel herbert-owner, moe's original barbecue 0:00-0:06 kiel hebert, owner of moes original barbecue said he and his employees were scared of the unknown that came with coronavirus.

But now things are starting to look up as workers are getting ready to open the inside of their dining area.

"we received a great response from the community."

Herbert said when customers come in..the dining room will have a brand new look.

"we're getting everything ready right now.

We're going to open when we're ready and we feel that it's safe for everybody to come in and it's safe for our employees."

Kiel said employees have been taking curbside and delivery orders during the coronavirus pandemic.

Now restaurants are allowed to have their dining areas open, but with only half its capacity..and with workers wearing face masks..while following additional executive orders.

City leaders say customers who dine in do not have to wear a face mask.

But kiel said he's in no rush.

"how to properly clean the tables and the utensils correctly, going over the single use utensils single use plates so nothings being reused from customer to customer.

Implementing new systems like that takes a little time."

Kiel will make his decision to reopen at the end of this week.

He also said they will continue curbside until the restaurant can have its dining area fully open again.
