834 showed up on Saturday.

Ten.") several hundred people drove up to mosaic life care for day one of mass testing for buchanan county residents today.

Good evening, thanks for joining us i'm ron johnson.

Without even leaving their cars, 834 people in the county were succesfully tested today.

We talked to some of those people to find out what they thought of the process.

<<ron johnson reportingone by one, cars showed up at mosaic life care for day one of their mass covid-19 testing operation.

Went through pretty quick it took us probably less than five minutesthe drive thru testing operation held inside an on site parking garage, getting people in and outreally it was not as bad as i was anticipating the testing, was given via a nasopharyngeal swab, a method some found easy little bit of a sting and that was it.

While others found a little more challenging i didn't like them sticking in my nose like that, that hurts.

Still most people were happy to take part in the operation, they say they wanted to take every opportunity to ensure they're safe.

I have health problems that if i would have gotten it, i would have been hospitalized.

As well as get a clearer picture of the virus' impact in buchanan county.

With things opening up i think it important to find out just how many people maybe are positive so the leaders can make wise decisions in the future.

Those who got tested saturday say they highly recommend others take the opportunity to do so protect yourself, protect your family.

They say they accomplished taking part in the effort to right here at home.

Much and come and make the test it gives you somewhat of a peace of mind at least at this point in time.>> the testing effort will continue tomorrow from eight a.m.

To four p.m.

Mosaic life care staff say there are still spots open to pre-register for a time to show up.
