Man charged with murder, rape of woman outside Daybreak

Our top story tonight at 6: a macon man accused of having sex with a corpse, is now charged with murder and rape.

55-year-old kenny whitehead was also charged with necrophilia over the weekend.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to a call around four sunday morning about two people having sex on the front steps of the daybreak day resource center.

When deputies arrived, they found whitehead and an unresponsive woman.

Emergency services determined the woman had been dead for some time.

The bibb
