Tehama public health supervising nurse---michelle schmidt---tells me they're*no* seeing a link to the rodeo.

The person who tested positive is a man in his 50's--- public health says he is in isolation--- and are working to identify the people that he may have had contact with-- do we know if he's linked to the cottonwood rodeo?

(michelle schmidt, supervising public health nurse for tehama county): we continue to do our investigation but at this point we're not seeing any link to the rodeo.//as we increase testing, we knew that there's a potential to see an increase in cases.

It's not taking us by surprise, it's just that we're going to work on mitigating those cases as quickly as possible.
