FCPS Class of 2020 honored with sound and light show

The Fayette County Public Schools Class of 2020 was honored Wednesday night with a sound and light show in downtown Lexington.

The district is honoring seniors in unique ways because of the health restrictions.

Tomorrow and friday there will be a several mile reverse parade at the kentucky horse park...billed as a senior send-off.

We won't give away what's in-store, but it will be a parade the kids won't forget.

It starts at four-thirty.

We leave you tonight in the heart of downtown lexington where the fayette county class of 2020 was honored in a unique way with sound and light show.

The light show features the colors of the district's six large high schools on the main street side of city center.

It runs on the half- hour with the last show at midnight.

To all the graduates who had to sacrifice so much because of the pandemic...congrat ulations!
