The volleyball season is over for one acadiana high senior... but she wo't let that stop her from supporting her fellow rams. news 1's ron snyder explains how sh's helping carry the torch into next season.

No prom and missing her friends was't what brittani delasbor envisioned.

But the pandemic canceled the rest of senior outside hitters school year.

She done playing organized volleyball but she serving her younger teammates with assistance.i know alot of seniors helped us out to win.

It was there time to be done i wanted to come out to help out and coach celie leblanc also told me to be a great leader.

I liked going to acadiana high and 'm going to miss going.

Her teammates are grateful.

"it means alot that she cares about next season even though she wo't be participating 3 and playing," sophomore middle blocker cortlyn jones said.

"she is helping me and giving me tips on the skills i may have lost during quarantine."

I love helping out people.

I's a really good thing to give out to others.

The rams lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs last season.

So brittani wants them to learn to bouncing back from mistakes.

Sh's tying up the loose ends with her former teammates.... but she not done helping others... sh's headed to lsu alexandria for nursing.
