Protests over the 2016 death of black man turned violent in Paris on Tuesday (June 2).

The protests were organized by Assa Traore, whose brother Adama Traore died while being detained by police.

Footage filmed on June 2 fires burning under the Boulevard Peripherique, the ring road around the French capital and protesters blocking motorists.
