2020 Valedictorian Speeches:Sophie Anthony Harrison High School

One of my favorite bible stories is the story of shadrach, meshach and abednego.

These three men were thrown into a fire for their beliefs, but rather than put the fire out god put an angel in their with them and they came out unharmed.

This story serves as a reminder that life is not about the situation you're in, but rather who is in it with you.

When i look back on my time at harrison i don't think i will remember a fire.

Instead, i think i will remember singing at the top of my lungs at homecoming, the insane energy of the student section at sectional basketball games and ignoring my parents' texts when my best iend and i had late nightnce pay amazing and supportive achsclassmates, friends d familwho believed in my en when i didn't believe in self.
