Milk distributions in Rome, West Winfield

Thousands of gallons of milk were distributed both in West Winfield and at Griffiss in Rome.

Distribution events happened today.

One in rome... the other in west winfield.

At mount markham schools....a line of cars.

The american dairy association north east has been behind all of these drives.

Herkimer county lawmakers were on hand to help.

Tc : 07:16 one of the best things that's happened so far as the lady was in tears she was so happy to get the milk, most people are very happy to get it tc : 07:32 and i just think it makes people happy to just get something more than nine thousand gallons of milk --- at griffiss in rome.

Like the other distribution events....each car received two gallons of milk.

This was an event that helped families... and also local farmers.

Terri dinitto dinitto farms 1:19:13 this milk was purchased through one of the grants that was through the state to help get food into the communities.

This is part of that.

Milk was purchased through dfa which is dairy farmers of america and our farm is part of that 1:19:28 and at this drive... oneida county workers were on hand to give out five-packs of masks as well.
