Co—Star, the popular astrology app, is in hot water after posting a tone-deaf image on their Instagram account.The post was titled “At the demo” and listed out what each zodiac sign would be doing at Black Lives Matter demonstrations.According to the tweet, Co—Star’s initial reaction to the backlash was to update the caption to say these were “demo tips”.Co—Star changed the caption again and said, “These are all things everyone should be doing if you attend a protest, regardless of sign” .Finally, the post was taken down and replaced with a gallery of actual protest tips and an apology.The response is still divided, with some on Instagram expressing thanks to the company for actually typing the words “We’re sorry”
