Donation drive to help Minneapolis communities

State Representative Peggy Bennett is one of the organizers.

Contribute too./// with minneapolis communities torn apart after the george floyd riots and protests... many families are struggling to find essentials.

This has prompted state lawmakers including state representative peggy bennett to put together a donation drive.

Bennett is teaming up with morris furniture in albert lea.

They are asking for items such as non?

"* perishable food babie supplies ?

"* water ?

"* and hy kits.

Bennett says people in minneapolis need all the help they can get and she knows southeast minnesota can help them get back on their feet.xxx "you know i found in this area especially in southern minnesota people are so caring.

So kind and so giving.

So i'm really looking forward to people helping out with this and i know they will because that's the kind of people we are here."

You can bring donations to morris furniture in albert lea through next saturday, june 20th.

The items will be given to breakthrough ministries in minneapolis who will then distribute them to different communities in the twin cities.///
