Altercation at Utica funeral home

Utica police say multiple people were sent to the hospital after an altercation at T.

We even went to the (scene( the day of the alleged incident, but there was no visible sign anything had happened.

We've made calls to police (( and(( the t revels gibson funeral home as well.

Today - this is what utica police could tell us.

Thay say on friday june 12th... they were dispatched to 144 eagle street -- the t revels gibson funeral home for a large disturbance.

Police say there was an altercation over a funeral service for a person who had recently died.

During the fight..

There were injuries that required hospitalization.

Police are investigating, but the say due to the sensitive nature of what happened and out of respect for the deceased and their family, they will not be releasing the identities of anyone involved or those who could face criminal charges.

Police are not releasing any additional information at this time with respect to this on-going investigation.
