As more people get out and about-they're starting to venture to places that have been closed for a while.

"* just a fw weeks after reopening to the public.

"it's hard for us to see the doors locked and people out front to take pictures and not getting to come inside and see it."

During their downtime ?

"* executive director laurie lietz and her staff stayed busy.

"we did come in, staggered staff, cleaning, and getting ready to reopen.

But didn't do any significant projects."

Now ?

"* they're getting some small events back on their calendar ?

"* and gaining their visitors back ?

*- pulling in people from as far as california ?

"* and even cloe by from minnesota.

"stories like that make it great for us to be open and to get to visit with people and just be here."

While music performance venues are allowed to reopen in iowa ?
