Anti-racism protesters in Washington, D.C.

Have toppled a statue of a Confederate general and set it on fire.

Footage filmed at around 11pm local time on Friday (June 19th) showed the statue of Albert Pike being pulled down with ropes before dozens of chanting demonstrators set it on fire.
