Protesters marched down the street to Fairpoint Park in front of City Hall on Saturday evening.

They said they wanted peace and equality.

The group met this afternoon at the intersection of green street and west main.

They marched to fairpoint park in front of city hall.

They held signs and chanted ..while pushing for equality and, as one woman said, "black power".

One woman said she thinks people want to be sure that their leaders don't forget about them.
