Lines this morning and afternoon didn't help the national outcry of voter suppression in kentucky.

It's a storyline that both democrats and republicans in the state have fought back on.

I just spoke with kentuck secretary of state mike adams about an hour ago.

He says this will likely be the biggest turnout kentucky has seen in decades..

And proves that they've made this election easier than it's ever been to cast a ballot.

They are expecting roughly 1.1 million votes..

Nearly a third of the registered voters..

To have cast a ballet through mail-in..

He says these primary elections have been a huge success..

That's because absentee ballots will be coming in after today... and will need to be counted.

Many county clerks are waiting until votes are counted to release results.

Clerks in fayette and jefferson county.... kentucky's two largest voting districts... say they will release results on june 30th.

Some county clerks will be releasing partial results.
