Protesters demonstrate against French ministers' appointments in Paris

Protesters took to the streets of the French capital on Tuesday (July 7) to demonstrate against the appointment of Gerald Darmanin as interior minister due to a rape accusation.

The protesters also demonstrated against the appointment of Eric Dupont-Moretti as Justice Minister.

Dupont-Moretti, a former lawyer, is a known critic of the MeToo movement and is also known to have defended controversial people.

The footage was filmed in front of the Madeleine church.
