Teen accused of criminal recklessness with a firearm

A man is now in custody after an officer observed bullets flying past his vehicle

Bullets flying past his vehicle.

It happened on state road 25 near the cass and carrol county line.

An officer was observing traffic when he heard the snd of bullets passing by his vehicle.

The officer called for back up.

After back up arrived and further investigation officers found three individuals on a property north east of of the intersection of county road 500 south and county road 575 west.

The three were target shooting with a high powered gun.

The gun was determined to be an ak47 that didn't have a proper back stop.

The gun was being shot in the direction of the highway.

Police arrested 18 year old alexander greene of galveston indiana.

He was taken to the cass county jail and faces a felony charge of criminal recklessness with a firearm.
