The douglas county fair isn't happening this year... but that's not stopping kids from showing and selling their livestock.
Kezi 9 news reporter evita garza shows us how sales are moving from the auction barns to the internet.

Normally... kids from the ffa and 4-h would pack into these pavillions to show and auction off their market animals at the douglas county fair.
This year... thanks to the pandemic... things are looking a whole lot different.
Everything is virtual.
Except for the energy --- which is very real.?it definitely super exciting that we have a show.

Sutherlin ffa advisior wes crawford says kids are being judged seperately this year to help fight the disease.
And they're showing their animals at the fairgrounds this week without an outside audience& live streamed to the judges.

Crawford says people can bid here at the fairgrounds on friday or they can watch the auction and bid live online.
He says they expect a big turn out this year& despite covid.
