High winds from Storm Isaias sends large portable toilet speeding in New York

A large portable restroom was sent speeding across a parking lot and down a flight of stairs during the height of Tropical Storm Isaias in Riis Park at Rockaway Peninsula in the New York City borough of Queens.

Additional footage from August 4 by storm chaser, John Huntington, shows strong winds coming in from along the waterfront.

He told Newsflare: "I'm a part-time professional photographer, and I'm also a storm chaser.

I chase tornadoes in the plains each year, and when there is big weather here at home in NYC, I chase that as well.

"This storm was impressive.

I'm a pretty big guy, and I had to lean into the wind to keep standing up straight.

Luckily, the storm surge wasn't bad, or this could have been a lot worse."
