Tonight -- we are taking a closure lookokokt the return -- of bars in the commonwealth.

We go now to chief western kentucky bureau reporter erran huber --- live from the owensboro river front.

Tuesday night is not exactly what anyone would consider prime time for bars.

But for some of them, it the most business theye seen in a while following a two week shut down.

Well we got a text that said taco tuesday with this jumping dancing taco guy on the text.

Signs of nightlife, slowly returning to owensboro.?it was a nice night, not as hot as last night so why not?

Come out and relax?

Across kentucky, tuesday night marks the first time across the state many bars can open back up after a two week shutdown.

Any more, doing all they can to survive in an unprecedented time.

Something that has those out on the town worried.

Being part of the community and being part of the business world, it always a scary thought of how the economy is going to be impacted?

Places like the pub on second already delayed in opening for months do more than just fill glasses to keep the place afloat.?we kinda tried to amp up food up a little bit more, do more food than we were originally planning to do?

Still, those trying to keep some sense of a happy hour going in some unhappy times, are also optimistic about the future.

I know in time that as things kinda get back to the?norma?

Wel actually see more people, a lot more familiar faces.

Theyl start coming out more often as well.

Wee just kind of holding the status quo for now.

Setting up for the longer term when more people start coming out.

Unfortunately for the city, was not coming back is the friday after five season.
