Sea foam washes ashore in New South Wales after deadly storms which killed a surfer

Sea foam washed up on the shore of Huskisson Beach in New South Wales, Australia, Monday (Aug 10) following deadly storms which killed a surfer.

The region was hit with more than 300mm of heavy rain, strong wind and large waves over the weekend.

In Sydney, a surfer died after he was dragged under a submerged stormwater pipe during huge swells on Collaroy Beach.

Forecasters said the low pressure system causing the extreme weather would continue until Thursday.
