You're taking a live look at morgan county where about 25 students and teachers are quarantining after four people in the district tested positive for the coronavirus.

Waay 31's ashley carter is live in priceville at the district's central office.

Ashley what are school leaders telling us?

According to the district's reopening plan, when students or teachers test positive for the coronavirus, they follow all alabama department of public health guidelines which includes quarantining and notifying everyone who came into contact with the person who tested positive.

Right now the district is releasing very little information about the 25 students and teachers who are currently in quarantine.

The district said it is not releasing information at this time about who tested positive or what schools are impacted.

This comes after the district began in-person learning on wednesday the district's re-opening plan also states that if students have to quarantine, they can easily transition to the virtual learning program.
