A woman accused of conspiring with her mother to hide a dead body and steal Social Security benefits was sentenced in federal court Thursday.

Shannon hardy sekel will serve a year and a half in federal prison...and have to pay more than 110 thousand dollars in resitution to the social security administration.
Donald wilchens remains were found in the backyard of a home in little falls in 2013.
He died in 2006.
Sekel and her mother, tammylynn sterling barthelmess pleaded guilty to stealing his retirement benefits.
Barthelmess was sentenced earlier this month to two years in prison.
