This kicked off a special ceremony.

Those who paid the ultimate sacrifice... gold star families and their loved ones who were killed in action were honored.

"* as well as the parachuters... the patriot parachute team estimates about 90% of their events for the year have been cancelled because of covid?

"* so they're excited to be able to perform at tee it up for the troops ?

"* especially for a cause they're passionate its great to see that these events are outdoors and people can social distance and stay apart a little bit, that they're still putting this on.

Even with where everyone is economically, having the sponsors come out and be able to have this event still happen is just incredible we took a look at it as a committee and decided that you know what whatever we can raise this year to help the veteran organizations here in the community and nationwide we are going to do it and hope for the best so even with covid this year, we decided to go forth with the event in the past 14 years ?

Organizers anticipated fewer donations this year because of the economic impact of the pandemic ?

"* but they are pleasantly surprised that donations are just about on par with past years.
