Cox elementary school principal niki peel says she and her cafeteria staff will serve the students meals in diferent ways... in their classrooms."

So what we've done with our transition time into cafeteria is we'll allow four classes into the cafeteria and four classes will stay in the classroom."

The cafeteria manager and workers take food in containers to the classrooms where they are handed out in a way to protect everyone.

When students go to the cafeteria the school has another plan.

'so when those kids come from the classrooms to the cafeteria, in their class they are clustered in their seating arrangements and this helps us with any kind of contact tracing that we might have to do.

" peel says the students line up and go into the cafeteria where food has already been delievered to the tables .

Workers skip seats between each meal and no student will sit directly across from another.

"that allows them some cafeteria time every other day .

The other students will eat in their classrooms ."

Principal peel says there are about 365 third and fourth grade students being served by the cafeteria at the elementary school .
